Shipping
At the present time, we only ship cheese. If you are interested in purchasing wine from us and do not live in the area, please contact us and we'll be happy to work with you to arrange storage options to hold the wine until you are in the area.
Your cheese is cut to order. We strive to cut as close to possibleto the specific amount requested, but it is possible to cut slightlymore or less. This applies to all cheese, whether shipped or picked up.
We accept Visa and Mastercard fororders placed online. You can choose to keep your credit card on filewithin your personal and secure Arrowine account (preferred) or you maycall us with your credit card information. We do not accept cash,checks, or money orders for orders placed online. We do not ship C.O.D.Sales tax will be added where applicable.
Cheese Pick Up Policy:
You may place your order for pick up online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You may order by telephone at (703) 525-0990 or toll free, (877) 418-9858, Monday through Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm and Sunday, 11 am - 2 pm.
If you order online, please indicate in the “Special Instructions or Notes” box in the “Review and Confirm” window what day and time you would like to pick up your order. If you would like to pick up your order on the same day that you place your order, please note that it may take up to three hours to process your order. If you make no indication in the comment box, we will assume you will pick up the order on the same day by the close of business.
Pick up orders that are not picked up within 24 hours of indicated pick up time are subject to a $10.00 restocking fee. Regular Cheese Orders for pick up will be available from the staff at the Deli Counter. Cheese Platters are available for pick up only.
Cheese Shipping Policy:
You may place your order online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Telephone orders may be placed Monday through Friday, 10 am to 4 pm, with the exception of Federal holidays. Please do not leave orders on voice mail. You must speak with an Arrowine customer service representative or place your order online.
It takes 24 hours to receive and process orders for shipping. Orders placed before midnight ET will be processed and shipped the following day. We ship cheese on Monday through Thursday. We ship orders on Fridays for Next Day Delivery only. Additional charges for Saturday delivery will apply. We do not ship cheese Saturday or Sunday. Arrowine cannot assume responsibility for incorrect addresses provided to us; delivery, return, and redelivery charges will apply.

Orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will ship on Monday. Delivery dates will be based on shipping option selected.
Perishables:
We ship perishables by UPS Next Day, Two Day, and Ground in limited areas with the expectation that your order will be delivered the next day or two after it leaves our facility, depending on the shipping method you choose. We do not ship perishable items by postal services.
Cheese selections are packed to keep your items at the proper shipping temperature. We fill the packing voids with foam peanuts to reduce the air content of the box, and place your selections in a specially designed, thickly insulated package with food safe reusable chilled coolant packs. We only offer shipping services that will deliver within 48 hours if your order contains perishable items.
Arrowine makes every effort to ensure your package reaches you in optimal condition. Please inspect package upon receipt. If there is any problem with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Arrowine cannot be responsible for items received but not opened. Cheese package is clearly marked “perishable” and should be opened, inspected, and refrigerated immediately.
Shipping, Customs and Taxes:
We ship via United Parcel Service (UPS) . UPS delivers Monday through Friday, excluding applicable holidays. Saturday delivery is available at an increased cost. Any damage to the order while in transit is the responsibility of the courier and any claim for damage must be filed with the courier per the courier’s standard terms and conditions, Arrowine will not be liable for damages or loss during transit. If the Customer is not present to receive the order when delivered by the courier, it is the Customer’s sole responsibility to make arrangements with the courier to reschedule the delivery. Arrowine will not be liable for any loss, damage or deterioration of the products that may occur due to a delayed or rescheduled delivery.
Estimated shipping times and shipping costs are based on the products selected, and will be determined at checkout. The costs reflect the size and the weight of the package and the shipping distance and shipping method selected. Deliveries will be made to the address specified on the order. Please choose your shipping option carefully.
The Customer further agrees that all his or her orders are for his or her personal consumption or for the personal consumption of any other person to whom the Products are being sent at the Customer’s request. In the latter case, the Customer, on behalf of such third party, accepts the General Terms and Conditions.
International Shipping:
At this time, we do not ship to international addresses.
Returns:
We want you to be pleased with our products and our service. We guarantee that our products will be of good quality and in good physical condition when shipped. Orders cannot be returned unless the product is incorrect or tainted. You must inform us within 24 hours of delivery of the item(s). Please contact us at 703-525-0990 during business hours.
Availability and Pricing:
Our cheeses are natural products and may vary slightly in appearance, color or shape from the images displayed on the website. We make every effort to ensure that our products are fresh and in the proper physical condition for shipment. Please understand that many of our cheeses are cut from much larger natural wheels or pieces and some of the product images displayed on the website are of the wheels or larger pieces and are used only to better display the item.
These artisanal cheeses are of limited availability and often supplied to us in irregular quantities and delivery cycles. Despite our best efforts, occasionally some products will not be available between the placing of your order and the expected ship date. Should this occur, we will contact you by email prior to shipment to discuss what alternatives are available. If we are unable to contact you prior to shipment, we will ship the in-stock products and refund the cost of the missing items and the related shipping charges. Should you so desire, we can add you to the "wait list" to send the product as soon as it is back in stock.
We will always do our best to honor the prices that show on our website. But please be advised that prices are subject to change without notice, and we reserve the right to correct pricing errors.
We guarantee that the prices displayed during checkout will be the price charged for each item regardless of whether the sale or special price expires before the order is shipped. Any sale or special pricing prior to checkout is only applicable during the period of the sale or special pricing, regardless of whether the item is in the shopping cart or wish list.
We reserve the right to refuse any order or to refuse to ship to any country or to refuse to accept payments from any Customer at our discretion.
Out of stock items:
Though we continually monitor inventory to ensure product availability, there are times when products may be out of stock. If that occurs, representatives are available to suggest comparable substitutions. In cases where a substitution is necessary, we will email you before shipping and provide the option to select other items. If you decide not to make a substitution, we will ship available items minus the out of stock item(s) or cancel the order, if you prefer to do so. Your credit card will not be charged until we ship your order, and you will not be charged for out-of-stock items.
